The Texas Association of Community Colleges (TACC) serves as the voice of community colleges before the Texas State Legislature and Executive agencies such as the Higher Education Coordinating Board. TACC advocates for the interests of these critical institutions and the more than 720,000 students enrolled in a Texas community college.
Our Key Messages:

Texans in Community Colleges
TACC created Texas Success as a dedicated space for the Association's legislative agenda.
The TACC Advocates Network is an effort to connect the greatest asset of our institutions - the people. The Website provides opportunities for community college supporters to engage with issues, legislation, and legislators. During each Texas Legislative Session, the Advocates Network provides an "up-to-date" version of the TACC bill tracking lists. Supporters can access this list, the current language of bills, and the progress of measures through the legislative process.
Community college supporters can also join the network by becoming an Advocate and assist TACC with efforts at the Capitol on behalf of the state's community colleges. By joining, Advocates may also receive the Monday Morning Message (an update from Austin) by email.
